Fall Activities for Parents and Supporters
Fall Banquet Thank You
A big thank you to everyone who showed up for the Fall Banquet on September 26th. Nearly 100 people joined us for dinner that Friday evening. We also heard testimonies from some of the kids involved with Young Life, and a great presentation by Joe Paolella, a Young Life Area Director from the Philladelphia area.
Don't forget that we have a Volunteer Information Luncheon coming up on October 26th. If you are interested in getting involved in Young Life, WyldLife, or any other Young Life associated service, please plan to attend. We welcome parents and interested adults who may be interested in joining the local committee, helping organize events, or simply praying for Young Life in the Ramapo Valley.
Parents and Leaders
Parents and volunteer leaders are critical to helping YoungLife fulfill its mission. While the Ramapo Valley does have a dedicated YoungLife staff member, the majority of the heavy lifting to meet kids' needs comes from volunteers.
Getting involved in YoungLife is not only great for the kids who come to Club and Camp, but it's also great for YOU. Meeting other parents and concerned community members, participating in great outings, and knowing that you are changing lives gives us tremendous energy - and we'd like to share that energy with YOU.
